Splatmaster Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Splatmaster and Paintball?
Think of it like “kid-friendly” paintball. Younger players (ages 6-9) will play a variety of different paintball style games, but with guns that shoot about half the speed of a regular paintball gun. Also, the ammunition is about two-thirds the size of a regular paintball.
Is Splatmaster safe for kids?
Absolutely! All players will be equipped with protective eye goggles and a chest protector that are to be worn at ALL times. Also, players will have a thorough safety brief before being allowed to play.
Does it hurt?
The ammunition used is designed to be as painless as possible. The impact will only cause a small sting, such as the flick of a rubber band.
What is the feet per second (FPS) for JT Splatmaster guns?
These guns are spring-loaded and fire at a velocity of 150 FPS, which is about half the speed of a standard paintball gun. At this rate, you can see your ammo fly through the air before you get the satisfaction of seeing your splat!
